The first thing anyone needs to realize is that the flab in the mid-section is the most stubborn form of fat on the body which is why it is so difficult to get rid of. Most people already know the importance of muscle mass when it comes to burning off fat, but no matter how hard they workout, the abs, they cannot get rid of it. This is mainly because of how small the muscles are to begin with. You may have to spend months on a lower ab workout routine before you start seeing results.
If you have already spent many months continuously working out the abs and have yet to see any results, then make sure you are also paying a close attention to your diet. Alone a diet or exercise routine cannot do very much, but then done together the results can be simply amazing. If you have been performing lower ab workouts regularly, and have not seen any result but also have not tried adjusting your diet, then it is most likely the diet which is preventing you from achieving your goals.
In the end, through hard work and commitment you will eventually be able to achieve those well-sculpted abs you have bee trying to get. Just stay focused and watch your diet; eventually it will happen. It is not something which can be achieved over night and for many it can take several months, but it is not an impossibility.
